There are also no restaurants nor convenience stores in the area. Make sure to bring your own drinking water, food, etc. Don't worry for the kitchen utensils, stoves, cooking sets, and grill, its provided by the Floating house owner.

There are no vendors who will keep on bugging you to buy souvenir shirts, keychains, or pearls although their is Calataganda Souvenir & Novelty Shop infront of the Municipal Building. There are no bars, no stores, no colored flags; everything is just so raw!

The color of the sand in Calatagan is not really white compared to Boracay nor Calaguas. However, the color varies from white, to dirty white, or to somewhat gold all throughout the day. With its clear water, Calatagan is a home for a lot of sea creatures such as seastar, sea urchins, and sea snakes and many more.
